Bela brings over 35 years of experience in land development planning, with a proven track record in leading the visioning and master planning of some of the most well-known, award-winning and innovative communities in the Calgary region, including Mahogany, Rangeview and Livingston. She has successfully navigated projects through complex municipal approval processes, consistently achieving positive outcomes. With an Executive MBA complementing her planning expertise, Bela offers a well-rounded perspective on land development across a range of project scales, including residential, commercial, mixed-use and industrial. As a former senior partner and executive team member at B&A Planning Group, she played a key role in client relations, strategic growth, and the firm’s overall development. Her broad experience spans policy planning, land use and neighbourhood plans, business case analysis, growth management, and collaborative advocacy to support balanced, win-win solutions.

Bob has been involved with the development of 19 master-planned communities over his career which included complex inter-municipal negotiations resulting in positive outcomes.  Bob has successfully coordinated between the fields of urban planning, growth management, servicing, transportation engineering and cost management to create communities which are both vibrant and successful from the point of view of all stakeholders, including, the homeowner, developer and the municipality. Bob has served in a leadership capacity with one of North America’s largest land development companies, Brookfield Residential.  During his tenure at Brookfield, he led internal teams to look at best practices across North America to review financing of municipal infrastructure as well as industry standards of development

Sue has been involved with the development approvals in Alberta since 1985 and has had substantial experience in understanding and managing the multiple disciplines that are required to bring these projects to a positive conclusion.  Sue has held senior planning positions with Stantec, ISL, and her own planning practice spanning large and small municipalities in Alberta. Her specific areas of expertise include professional planning services, project management, client liaison, and conceptual design. Sue’s comprehensive understanding of the administrative processes and her acumen for resolving complex planning issues bring a solution-oriented perspective to land development projects and policy-setting initiatives. Sue’s vast experience in the Calgary region includes approvals for well-known communities such as Cranston, Auburn Bay, Seton, Legacy, Silverado, New Brighton, Cougar Ridge, Valley Ridge, Sage Hill, Nolan Hill, Evanston, Kincora, Skyview Ranch, Hidden Valley and Citadel.
